Aditi Rao Hydari On Her Trip To Sundarban

The actor tells Samira Sood about her trip to the Sundarbans, how stardom has changed her travels, why she loves Cape Town and what’s on her bucket list.

From growing up in Delhi and Hyderabad to Mumbai and the movies, how have your travels changed?

One is that the way I travel has changed, because there are people who go with me now, which is amazing. The other thing is that I just don’t get the time to take in a place.

Does that bother you?

No, I think that you learn to feel everything that much quicker, because you think, okay, I have to take everything in now, in these five minutes that I have, and you adapt and learn to do that. I feel really lucky that my work allows me to travel so much, because there’s nothing more incredible than getting to know different cultures and people. And to actually be a part of it all, rather than look at it as something exotic, and only experience it from a distance.
