When Moto launched their new Z series they created two similar devices with identical 5.5-inch screens, main camera and Moto Mods compatibility. but where the Moto Z was everything you want in a flagship smartphone with class leading features including a powerful processor and slim build (it was the slimmest smartphone when launched) the Moto Z Play was almost the polar opposite - it is a bit thicker than its slim companion and runs a mid-tier Snapdragon 625 processor.
