'WE'RE STANDING UP TO BULLIES'

I WANT TO SPREAD KINDNESS

Kohbi Barrow is only 12 but he's already a volunteering veteran.

After breaking into the selfless circuit when he was just 6, the youngster from the Pilbara, WA has raised thousands for various charities and has big plans for Do It For Dolly Day this year. Kohbi has organised a community walk, where people will dress in Dolly's favourite colour-blue - with a treasure hunt along the way.

The charitable champion, who has already raised more than $3000 for charity Dolly's Dream, also plans to hold the second of his unique fundraising events called the Coffee Lid Project to share kindness with the community.

Proud mother AnneMarie says Kohbi has been focused on kindness, putting a stop to bullying for years.

“Kohbi experienced physical and verbal bullying himself – he couldn't believe people were so nasty and thought it was OK to hurt others," says Anne-Marie, 42.

"From the age of 9 he has spoken at mine sites and discussed, in front of adults, the importance of kindness and making sure your child isn't a bully.

“We are so unbelievably proud of Kohbi, his resilience, and his ability to be an amazing human being."
