Prince Edward Island, Canada

There are many advantages to life on a small Island, especially Prince Edward Island. Located just off the east coast of Canada and cradled on the waves of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, PEI is known for its vivid colors, gently rolling landscape, miles of sandy beaches, and red sandstone cliffs. The cool, clean ocean waters surrounding the Island also teem with some of the most sought-after seafood in the world.

As a result, fishing on Prince Edward Island is a time-honored tradition and remains an unchanging aspect of the maritime cultural identity. It is eternally linked to the Island’s way of life, and is often passed down from generation to generation. While it’s no easy task to provide local markets and restaurants with fresh, high quality product day in and day out, many families can’t imagine having it any other way.
