As its screen adaptation by the inimitable film-maker Mira Nair brings it to life, AD takes a look at the cinematic as well as the design details that construct this charming world of 1950s India. And in classic AD style, it comes with an opening essay and handwritten annotations by the director Mira Nair. Ladies and gentlemen, we’re on location with ‘A Suitable Boy’.
