MENZIES WOOED FALLON OVER A KFC

THEIR eyes met over a KFC takeaway and now they want to ruffle a few feathers at Alexandra Palace.

At first, romance went straight over Cameron Menzies' head - when Fallon Sherrock was on the practice board mounted over the desk where he was relaxing on the PlayStation.

But now the Queen of the Palace and her Caledonian prince have moved on from chicken mini-fillets and their sights are trained on upsetting the pecking order at the Paddy Power PDC World Championship.

Sherrock, who rattled the men's cages by turfing out Ted Evetts and Mensur Suljovic five years ago, could face boy wonder Luke Littler in the second round if she beats Ryan Meikle on Tuesday.

And plumber Menzies, who has climbed into the world's top 40, should fancy his chances of beating American Leonard Gates (inset) to seal a meeting with two-time Major winner Nathan Aspinall at Ally Pally.

If they both win, Menzies and Sherrock can wear a KFC bargain bucket like a crown.
