Bringing Out The Best In Agents

Allianz equips agents with the best to “Live their Lives” and meet customer needs.

For decades, insurance agents have always been there, serving their clients and providing them the best policies. Be it life insurance, health insurance or even a savings plan, almost everyone has dealt with an insurance agent at some point of their lives.

Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad agents have been serving Malaysians for many years now. There are currently about 4,400 Allianz insurance agents in the country providing the best services to their clients. Changes by regulators indeed impacted the industry, but for Allianz, the agents were well prepared to embrace these changes.

Ong Pin Hean, Chief Sales Officer for Allianz Life believes that insurance agents need to serve their clients: “Don’t be an insurance agent to just sell insurance. Be a person who lives life to the fullest. Agents do the right thing by providing a service to the customers. Being good to your clients will give you good productivity which will lead to a good income.”

Embracing Change

Technology has changed the way one buys insurance today. Surprisingly though, Allianz is seeing more younger agents join the industry - about 60% of their agents are currently below the age of 30.
