Husband-and-wife team kristian and suzan jensen chat to us about their new nordby collection, and what it adds to the teak & mahogany brand.
Kristian and Suzan set up Teak & Mahogany 21 years ago, using their garden shed as a base. It quickly became a popular choice for those looking for good quality, stylish and affordable pieces for the home.
They currently operate from a store in Pasir Panjang, where you can pick up pretty much anything and everything for the outdoors, including, of course, a wide range of furniture, as well as fun and stylish tableware, torches, lights and more.
Last year, the pair launched their own Nordby range of indoor furniture, Kris spearheading the design and procurement as he had done with the Teak & Mahogany brand.
Inspiring designs
Kris left his hometown in Denmark in his early 20s, and has lived in Singapore for almost 35 years. “My dad was a woodworker; he was always creating and building stuff, so I must have some of that in my genes!”
