In the world of cryptocurrency, Bitcoin surged past the $57,000 mark on Tuesday, marking its highest value since December 2021. This upward trajectory was fuelled by a combination of factors, including significant demand for its exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and substantial purchases by Microstrategy. Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, also experienced a notable surge, surpassing $3,200 for the first time since April 2022.
