Libby Butcher: His Secret Life
THE butcher who raped and murdered student Libby Squire led a depraved secret life as a night stalker while posing as a loving family man.

Married father-of-two Pawel Relowicz is today revealed as a man obsessed with stalking women.

Exclusive unseen pictures of the killer show him grinning in a pair of reindeer antlers as he parties with friends just weeks before Libby went missing in January 2019.

A close friend tells how Relowicz:

  • Went on dating apps to find a wife as soon as he arrived in the UK â– Taunted wife about prostitutes
  • Was a night stalker who frequently roamed the streets after dark
  • Would go out jogging after work, disappearing for hours and leaving his wife to call up his friends, fearing he was having affairs.

Relowicz was this week jailed for life with a minimum term of 27 years for Libby’s murder. An 18-year sentence for raping her will run concurrently.

A court had heard how he would go missing for hours at night, telling his wife he was jogging.

In reality, he was conducting a campaign of sex crimes that ended in Libby’s death.

Speaking for the first time, Relowicz’s pal said: “It’s still hard to believe, he had two totally different lives.

“He seemed a normal guy with two small sons who worked hard and was good at his job.

“I feel confused because the Pawel I knew was not the one I’d have imagined could do something so terrible.”
