MATTY ASHTON claimed his second hat-trick of the season as Warrington broke records.

The England winger's treble was the highlight as title-chasing Wolves ran riot against humiliated Huddersfield.

But there was plenty else to like in a ruthless 12-try display - their biggest Super League win over the West Yorkshire club.

If Warrington beat London in their final regular game on Friday, and Hull KR slip up against Leeds, the Wolves could still steal second spot.

But head coach Sam Burgess wasn't bothered by those sort of calculations.

He said: "It's something I have completely stopped worrying about. When things are out of our hands, I don't waste too much energy on it."
