Chris McLennan Profile

Chris McLennan is a commercial travel photographer, videographer and certified drone pilot who hails from New Zealand’s South Island and runs photo tours all around the world.

The National Geographic award-winning photographer grew up around adventure sports and spent the early part of his photography career working mainly in the ski industry.

Since becoming a full-time pro photographer in 1988, Chris has worked in 60 countries during a career that’s spanned over 30 years.

Among his many accolades, Chris is a Nikon Ambassador, Lowepro Bags Loweprofessional, HP DreamColor Ambassador, Rab Equipment Ambassador, Lexar Elite Photographer and DJI Global Ambassador.

The Z 7II marked Chris’s first foray into Nikon’s Z-series of cameras and he’s now a mirrorless convert, pairing the aforementioned body with Nikon’s new Z 9 and a plethora of Z lenses.
