TEMPLE OF WINGS
Christie's second installment of the Ann & Gordon Getty Collection presented the historic turn-of-the-century Berkeley property: Temple of Wings. The collection was sold over a live auction in New York and online sales in June and the proceeds benefited selected arts and science organisations. The collection includes furniture from the members of the Gothic Revival and Arts and Crafts movement and Victorian paintings, resulting in a collection that represents the sensibility of the late 19-20th century Decorative Arts.
