Water Shoes To Wear This Summer
It’s essential to be prepared with a proper pair of water shoes when engaging in outdoor adventures such as tubing, kayaking or wading through riverbeds. Water shoes can even come in handy when walking on hot sand. They are usually made with quick-drying nylon and breathable mesh to prevent moisture buildup, which can not only make shoes feel heavy but also lead to rubbing that causes blisters. Underfoot, they feature thick rubber outsoles with sturdy tread, and sometimes even drainage ports that allow water to more easily escape from the shoe. Additionally, nylon water shoes can also provide insulation for feet while wading in cold water. We have curated an array of great water shoes for both men and women from some of the popular brands.
WHEELED SHOES FOR GIRLS
Heelys, the innovative Texas-based brand, created rolling styles for kids, so little ones could go from walking to skating in moments for a fun way to get around. Patented Heelys are fixed with a removable wheel located in the heel that transforms the shoes into low-key “stealth” skates, giving wearers the freedom to seamlessly go from walking or running to skating just by shifting their weight to their heel. Roller skating fanatic and Heelys founder Roger Adams actually designed a prototype by simply taking a skateboard wheel and placing it in the heel of a sneaker. A handful of other brands have also created wheeled styles for tots who are always on the move. Some come with one wheel in the heel while others feature two with another placed at the front. We’ve rounded up some of the best girls’ shoes with wheels to shop.

GLAMOROUS FLAT WEDDING SHOES
Comfort may weigh in as supreme in your everyday footwear choices, it, however, is arguably even more important when it comes to the shoes you wear on your wedding day. Unless you choose to endure the pain that often comes with wearing high heels, you shouldn’t have to wince down the aisle or miss out on hours of prime dance floor time because of achy arches. Not to mention, if you have a backyard or beach wedding, stilettos are even more difficult to walk in on grass or sand. With the right pair of flats, however, you can avoid these situations without sacrificing personal style. From satin strap flats to crystal-embellished sandals, a growing number of bridal and dress shoe brands now offer gorgeous flat shoes that rival the look of heels. Popular comfort and fashion labels like Aerosoles and Sam Edelman also carry timeless ballet flat styles that are versatile enough to complement any gown and be worn well after the big day, too.
