PREVIOUS PROPERTY 'We lived in a much busier part of Santa Barbara close to the beach,' Megan says
The contrast between the Robles' former home and their new one could not be more striking. Having previously lived close to the beach in Santa Barbara, Megan and Rick, along with their two sons, Graydon, two, and baby Roan, have relocated towards the top of the canyon. Here in a Spanish Revival villa, they wake up every day to a mesmerising view that has become the beautiful backdrop to family life.
'When we first came here I was struck by the solitude. There was also a warm homey feeling and a sense of romance to the architecture that resonated. It was much more our style than our former beach house, Megan explains.
