Karan, a financial planner, and Joanita, a human rights lawyer, embarked on their baking adventure, driven by their deep connection to the art of baking that spanned generations. Karan's grandparents owned a renowned Irani café in Bombay, celebrated for their irresistible bun maska, while Joanita's grandfather established a bakery in Chapora, Goa. It was here, in the warmth of their family kitchens, that the seeds of their baking passion were sown.
Their love for all things baked blossomed into Menitto Bakers—combining Karan's surname, Menon, with Joanita's maiden name, Britto.
