Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Wednesday instructed the entire district Collectors to be humane while acquiring lands from farmers for the public purposes such as lying of national highways. He also advised the Collectors to talk directly to the farmers in this regard. He wanted the Collectors to ensure that the farmers get more compensation under the Law.

Sporadic violence marks bypolls in U'khand, Bengal
Moderate to high turnout was recorded in 13 assembly constituencies across seven states where bypolls were held on Wednesday amid sporadic incidents of violence in Uttarakhand, Bihar and West Bengal.
