Anti-Pawar protest: 109 get judicial custody, lawyer in lock-up for 2 days
A total of 110 accused arrested for Friday’s protest outside NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s South Mumbai residence, including the lawyer for striking MSRTC workers Gunratna Sadavarte, were produced before a court on Saturday. While 109 were sent to judicial custody for 14 days, Sadavarte was remanded in police custody for two days. Meanwhile, police stated that four people had conducted recce of the area a few days ago.
