WHEN she quit BBC Breakfast to seek out fresh challenges, it’s unlikely Louise Minchin ever imagined she’d have to go up against the TV Gladiators.
But three years after her departure from the morning show, that’s exactly what she’s about to do.
Since 2021, Louise has travelled the world, climbed mountains and taken on triathlons.
Now she’s hoping all that training and fitness will come into its own as she faces off against the likes of Fury, Comet and Dynamite in a one-off celebrity version of the hit show.
Louise, 55, will be joined by comedian Rob Beckett, Masked Singer presenter Joel Dommett and Ted Lasso actress Ellie Taylor.
And while all four are already feeling nervous, none is dreading it more than 38-year-old Rob.
