'Dentistry is a moral crusade'

MORE and more children are visiting hospital to have bad teeth out due to a lack of dentists.

The Minister for Care, Stephen Kinnock, called it the most shocking thing he has discovered so far.

He told the Mirror's Dentists for All Campaign that putting this right is a "moral crusade" for the government.

Child tooth extractions due to decay rose 17% last year, with 48,000 children and young people having teeth removed in 2022/23.
