MATT BLOOMFIELD has told his Wycombe players an upset is possible tonight even though his previous Aston Villa League Cup dream became a nightmare.
The Chairboys manager was part of the Buckinghamshire side's midfield when they went toe-to-toe with Aston Villa at this very stage of the competition 19 years ago.
Wycombe were incredibly 3-1 up against David O'Leary's men at the break before Villa ran riot with SEVEN second-half goals to eventually triumph 8-3 (Gareth Barry celebrates James Milner's equaliser, below).
Bloomfield's men have entertained this term, scoring two in all six League One games.
