A MAN suspected of killing himself after appearing on The Jeremy Kyle Show felt he was "thrown under a bus" by the ITV programme, his son told an inquest.
Steve Dymond, 63, was found dead in his home a week after failing a lie detector test on the popular daytime series.
Mr Dymond had been accused of cheating on his former fiancee Jane Callaghan.
In a witness statement, Carl Wooley said his dad felt he "was thrown under a bus" and was concerned he had been "cast as the liar".
Mr Wooley added: "He told me he was 'made out to be a baddie'... and no one had given him any chance to put his point across, and Jeremy Kyle was constantly on him"."
He said his father called him up to six times a day following the recording in May 2019, during which he had been booed.
Representatives for Mr Kyle said he denies asking the crowd to boo Mr Dymond.
