FOOTBALL star Marcus Rashford has been banned from driving for six months for speeding at over 100mph in his Rolls-Royce.
He was caught after he overtook an unmarked police car on a motorway.
After he was stopped, the Manchester United and England forward told officers he was speeding in his £550,000 Roller because he thought he was being followed.
Rashford, 26, added that he did not call 999 about it because "it happens all the time", the court heard.
Police said they reviewed video footage and found no evidence of him being followed. Rashford was caught speeding in his Rolls-Royce Cullinan Blue Shadow just after midnight on December 12, court documents show.
