Shops told it would breach their human fights

SHARING THIEVES' MUGSHOTS BANNED

STORE owners are being blocked from sharing mugshots of a series of shoplifters because it would breach their human rights.

Richard Walker, boss of frozen food chain Iceland, said data protection rules mean shops are being "stymied".

"We are not allowed to share images of shoplifters on high of shoplifters on high street WhatsApp groups because of the human rights of the shoplifters," he revealed.

He said companies should also be allowed to put up posters of prolific thieves in stores.
