The Reds forward has scored more than 20 goals in every one of his previous seven seasons at Anfield.

Salah, 32, is already off the mark with a goal last weekend against Ipswich and will be fired up for more at home to Brentford tomorrow.

His Liverpool stats are astonishing, with 212 goals and 88 assists in 350 appearances for the club.

“It’s my firm belief that you don’t improve individuals, you improve the team and because of that individuals improve,” said the new Reds boss.
