CLASH GORDON

EDDIE HOWE is happy to risk Anthony Gordon playing as he faces a fiery night of abuse at Goodison Park.

The England Under-21s winger quit Everton in January after supporters surrounded his jeep and hurled insults after a defeat.

Newcastle snapped up Gordon for £45m and Howe says Gordon can cope with a hostile situation because he knows Everton’s fans.

The Toon coach, whose side are in the race for a top-four finish, said he won’t change his team selection or tactics to keep Gordon out of the firing line.
