DOCTORS will be told to sign fewer people off sick.
They will be urged to recommend ways those with long-term illnesses can carry on working.
It is part of a move by the Treasury and Department for Work and Pensions to reverse a rise in the number of employees missing from jobs with longterm sickness in the wake of the pandemic.
