So Pep Guardiola isn’t going to rip everything up and change tactics just because he’s lost five successive games for the first time as a manager.

He insists he will deal with the biggest crisis of his 16-year managerial career by not panicking and doing the same things he has always done.

Guardiola was animated as he responded to Saturday’s 4-0 home loss to Tottenham – his joint-worst defeat as Manchester City boss – ahead of tonight’s Champions League clash with Feyenoord.
