LEWIS HAMILTON has put himself on a collision course with Formula One bosses by declaring: "You can't silence me." The seven-time world champion spoke out after the FIA insisted they would clamp down on "political, religious and personal statements" which hadn't been approved by them.

Speaking at the launch of the new Mercedes car for 2023, Hamilton said: "Nothing will stop me from speaking out on the things I am passionate about and on issues I feel the sport still has a responsibility and always will - to speak about.
