Ed: Rip off slur 'idiotic'

ED Sheeran told a court he “would be quite an idiot” to rip off Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get It On and play it live with his own track

The singer-songwriter is being sued in New York by the heirs of the late Ed Townsend, who co-wrote the 1973 Motown hit.

They claim Sheeran stole elements of Let’s Get It On for his Thinking Out Loud.
