LIVERPOOL boss Arne Slot insists lack of rotation was not the reason for the Reds’ slip-up against Nottingham Forest.
Which suggests the Dutchman is not planning wholesale changes for tonight’s Champions League opener against AC Milan in the San Siro.
New Kop boss Slot has picked the same team for three of the Reds’ four Premier League games with just one change in total.
That sparked criticism after Forest pulled off a shock 1-0 win on Saturday at Anfield to end Slot’s 100 per cent start at the club.
A few new faces may have helped after an international break which saw 10 of his starters at the weekend play twice for their countries.
Former club Feyenoord ranked 11th in the Dutch league for total changes to the starting line-up and only one club used less players over the campaign.
“If rotation is the reason you lose a game, it would not be the first game I lost in 2024,” he said.
