A WOMAN who snapped her sofa in two when she sat on it has lost 10st in a year.
Caroline Archer, 39, developed a phobia of breaking chairs and refused to eat out in restaurants in case her 24st frame buckled the seat.
The customer service worker became "borderline reclusive" as she would avoid socialising, including going to cafes, concerts and cinemas.
