LEWIS NEEDS TITLE SHOT BOOST

SERGIO PEREZ believes that Lewis Hamilton will make a decision on his future based on whether he thinks he can genuinely have a shot at landing another world title.

Hamilton (left), who finished fifth at the first two rounds, has already written off his chances of competing for a record-breaking eighth title this year.

His contract with Mercedes expires at the end of the year and inevitable questions linger over the 38-year-old's future on the grid.

Ahead of tomorrow's Australian Grand Prix, Red Bull driver Perez (inset) said: "Lewis is still very motivated, but I guess that it will all depend on what level of car he can get.
