Mako: It's scrum as a shock

MAKO VUNIPOLA has admitted England had no idea how bad their scrum was before Steve Borthwick pointed it out.

Borthwick is preparing his side to face Wales a week today - assuming the opposition do not go on strike for the Cardiff clash.

In just two matches in charge he has improved England's set-piece and left his forwards shocked at how far standards had fallen in the last days of the Eddie Jones regime.
