EASTENDERS star Neil McDermott says he has struggled to land TV roles since leaving the soap.
The actor is convinced he's been typecast after playing Ryan Malloy for multiple stints since 2009.
He said: "I think you will always be known as a soap star to a certain extent when you leave a soap after a certain amount of time.
