ALISON TO REPLACE CAT?

It's been a rocky two years for This Morning. Following the exits of Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby last year, bosses scrambled to find the perfect replacements to save the show.

But while it appeared that they'd found just that in Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, who took the helm in March, the duo don't seem to have connected with audiences and viewing figures are said to have gone from over a million on their first show to half that in the space of a few months.
