He's faced a constant struggle with his health in recent years, but it seems things have now got even worse for Eamonn Holmes. From undergoing surgery for his chronic back pain last September, to then fracturing his shoulder after falling down the stairs at home, the 63-year-old hasn't been able to catch a break. And now, he's revealed that he can't walk'.
Eamonn shared the worrying update as he returned to his GB News breakfast show following some time off over the summer. 'I can't run, I can't walk, I can't do anything except watch TV and eat,' he said. Speaking to guest Tim Franklin, who is running around the world, he added, 'I just got problems last year in my back, which I haven't recovered from. It's not good, it's not a good recipe I have to say.'
Taking to Instagram, the broadcaster later shared a snap of himself having spine decompression, which involved having his neck and back stretched'.
MARRIAGE STRAIN
Eamonn, who has previously been seen using walking sticks and wheelchairs, has publicly documented his health issues and the impact they've had on his marriage with Ruth Langsford.
'Even my own family are bored of my moaning, he said. It has caused some strain and Ruth is fed up of hearing about it and of me saying I can't walk the dog or tidy up, but I can't help it. It's agony.
