Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan graced our screens together daily when they hosted This Morning. But while they were much-loved as a broadcasting duo, nowadays their roles within the world of TV couldn't be more different. While Richard is still very much enjoying the spotlight in his role as a host on Good Morning Britain - which often has him hitting the headlines all Judy wants this Christmas is a quiet life away from the drama of live TV.
'Even though I left TV umpteen years ago, people still ask me if I miss it. I don't,' Judy has said. I love my quiet life tucked away with my home and family. It's normal and peaceful - however exciting a job in TV may be, it's never peaceful."
And something else that will now undoubtedly be playing on the couple's minds ahead of the festive season is the fact their daughter Chloe Madeley has recently separated from her husband James Haskell, just one year after welcoming their daughter Bodhi. A source recently revealed Chloe was, unsurprisingly, leaning heavily' on her parents during this difficult time. So it's looking increasingly unlikely that Judy is going to get the peaceful Christmas she's hoping for.
