WEDDING TEARS
Denise, 71, sided with Anne, and the following year neither of them went to Coleen and Ray’s 2007 nuptials. ‘Coleen announced that she and Ray were going to get married at a castle just outside Leeds, and she had asked Amy and Alex [Anne’s daughters] to be two of her bridesmaids. The wedding was going to be quite a grand occasion. Although I was invited, Denise and Aunty were not, so I declined,’ Anne said. ‘As a family, we’re broken right down the middle. I never thought I’d say that, and as far as I’m concerned one person, Ray, has managed to do that,’ she added. Coleen recently broke down in tears on Loose Women over the incident, admitting, ‘They missed my wedding, my two sisters… It was really difficult.’
