We have been getting great feedback on our previous edition on CSR at workplace; various organisations presented their CSR activities and their contribution
has helped our readers strengthen their Organizational CSR strategies and served to prompt their seeking engagement with contributors to facilitate programs
and interventions leveraging their expertise. Many other organisations want to contribute their write ups on their CSR ventures. We shall soon come out with
another edition based on CSR at workplace.

Welcome to the August edition of People and Management based on the theme of Managing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the workplace.

One of the last bastions of resistance to CSR programmes within corporates often seems to be the HR department. Given the signifi cant range of issues owned here, that can be a real disadvantage. What are the corporate social responsibility issues that need to be managed in the workplace?

Taking our cue from the above learning, the stories featured in this edition seek to address our future revolving around work.
