The duo, who won the Alta Roma contest ‘Who is on Next’ in 2017, now boasts of a roster of leading stockists around the world. While Lin was born in Reggio Emilia, to Chinese parents, Gassanoff, who hails from Georgia, is of Azerbaijani descent. Together, they joined forces by melding cultures from their unique heritage to spearhead a contemporary womenswear label. The brand’s name itself refers to the founder’s nascency as they constantly borrow from their diverse backgrounds to fuel their designs.
