‘We are all very different as parents’
Dr Helen Maffini, 51, lives in Nottingham with her husband, Gianpaolo, 53. They have two daughters, Alexandra, 24, and Francesca, 17. She is the director of MindBe Education.
When our girls were little, they often had friends over for play dates or sleepovers, and I experienced my fair share of outbursts from their friends, including strops and whinging over the tiniest dilemma.
