4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced

2 tsp mild chilli powder
2 tbsp tomato purée
2 x 400g cans chopped tomatoes finely grated parmesan, to serve, plus the rind for cooking
400g can butter beans, drained and rinsed
400g can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
