Not holding on to unnecessary things and tension

The Art of Relaxation

Very often, from my window, I watch the people coming into the Institute and I feel that they are carrying the weight of the whole world on their shoulders. I see such a lot of tension - in their walk, in their faces; I feel their mind is also reeling with tension. But how can a human being live like that? If we have so much tension sitting, standing, sleeping, being awake, moving about, then our mind, body, emotions, are given so much burden that we cannot live in a calm and relaxed way. The life that has to be enjoyed every moment does not happen at all. What is necessary in life is to know the art of living in the right manner. But that is rarely seen.

We should know how to let go of things we I have created and know also that it is not necessary to hold on to those things that we have not created. Let's think about this a little: I have made something and I let it go so that it can be put to use somewhere else. This does not work out if I make something and keep it to myself. We must learn to give.

Holding on to something created by others has no meaning. A person has uttered some words; they are the person's words and mind.
