Ankita Shrivtastav, a versatile sportswoman, embodies the principle of never giving up until achieving her ultimate dream. Her determination has led her to become a record-breaking international athlete, a confident adventurer, an icon, a motivational speaker, and a successful entrepreneur, among other accomplishments.
Ankita’s remarkable journey includes donating 74 per cent of her liver to her mother. Over the past four years, she has participated in the World Transplant Games, bringing glory to our nation. So far, she has secured three gold medals and three silver medals in various events at these games, in addition to a collection of around two dozen medals from national-level competitions. Her outstanding achievements have been recognised in the India Book of Records and the Limca Book of Records. Moreover, Ankita serves as a brand ambassador for various government departments and corporate companies, and she is also the founder of a few startup companies.
In an interview with Sports Champ Magazine, the 28-year-old Bhopal athlete shared her journey after the liver donation. She emphasised the challenges of finding a suitable liver donor due to the complications involved in the process.
