NLC India produces 1mt of coal in 1st year of operation
In its first year of coal mining from its Talabira mines in Odisha, NLC India has been able to cross the target set for the maiden year at 0.937 million tons by actually excavating 1.013 million tons in FY21.

SCCL's coal production down 24% till February
Coal production by Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) during April-February of FY21 stood at 44.20 million tons (mt), 23.95 percent lower than 58.12 mt achieved during the same period of FY20, according to (provisional) data released by the company.
