I LOVE MAKING NEW DISCOVERIES— ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY FURTHER MY PASSION FOR COOKING AND GRILLING. To be frank, I don’t think most “new” products today are all that new; they’re often similar to their predecessor, with the “new” part being pretty minor, say, a new ergonomic handle on a whisk or a meat thermometer with more digital features. Or the one I really like is a new cover for your Dutch oven lid handle that prevents you from scorching your fingers—isn’t that what a potholder is for? So when I find something that really grabs my attention, I get really excited.
