In a bombshell development, the Clintons finally confessed — “We’re guilty!” — to swapping political favors for payoffs “disguised” as charity donations and begged federal prosecutors for leniency, political insiders tell GLOBE!
But in a stunning twist, sources say Justice Department prosecutors — acting on Trump’s orders — rejected the former first family’s eleventh-hour bid to avoid a humiliating trial — and prison — by cutting sweetheart plea deals.
“The Clintons finally admitted what everyone in Washington has known for years,” says an insider. “But Trump was having none of it.
