In his 1994 autobiography, Rhinestone Cowboy co-written by Tom Carter, Glen admitted he was a “cheap drunk” and a “cheap high.” While he won a Grammy Award for Gentle on My Mind, the singer was a rough and ready rascal with a short fuse.
