I’m sitting here with Alex “Littlest” Sherman as he is rolling up a doobie. Hey Littlest, how are you?
I am good, how are you?
Good, what kind of weed is that?
This is OG Kush right here.
You worked on a VG/Adidas am video project this year. Can you tell me a little bit about that?
Yeah, we got to film this adidas video with VG and it was mainly me, Derrek Lever and Tommy Gesme, and then Ben Bilodeau and Craig Cameron were part of it as well, and a few other people along the way. It was pretty much just an am video for us and it was really sweet. We got to go wherever we felt like going and it was kinda our first year with somebody giving you that kind of opportunity where you are fully able to travel and go to all the places that you have always wanted to go. It was pretty awesome.
That’s cool. What are some of the memorable spots that you got to travel to?
It was my first time going to Europe. We went to Finland and that was awesome. It was such a cool city; old buildings and proper rails. That was really cool. I went to Japan with Louif [Paradis] and that was awesome. I think that was my favorite trip. Me, Derrek and Louif and two Japanese guys, Ryoki and Masato. We went to a cool town, hit a bunch of dope spots and ate cool food.
I want to ask you about your past felony charge and I was wondering if that’s something you would be down to talk about. If not, that’s totally okay, too.
We could talk about that. I would be down.
Only if you are all good with that…

What’s even crazier than this photo is that Bode Merrill’s favorite band is Sole Asylum.

Desiree is a bad bitch that is on the forefront of women’s snowboarding with a number of progressive video parts and—in my opinion—the best style of any female. She continues to surprise the snowboarding world by thinking outside the box. Right now she is working on a very ambitious project called The United Slopes Of America where she is attempting to visit every resort in the U.S. to mingle with the locals, film everything along the way and write a book about the whole experience while living in a camper shell on the back of her Toyota that her and her father built by hand. More importantly for this column, Desiree is a very smart individual who is not afraid to voice her opinion, even if it offends everyone around her. That is why I asked her to do this Message Boardin’.

I haven’t been in tune with what you have been up to. What’s going on? This past winter I filmed with the Chuuch crew. It’s this local crew in Salt Lake. Buncha homies.
